Since 2006, our team has been developing and testing our Security Management and Reporting Tool (SMART) Application. Our goal was to create an application that could efficiently manage the complex tasks and requirements of the Security Management Office, yet simple enough that any company or government agency could easily use and integrate it. The end result is a robust, Microsoft Access-based application capable of handling thousands of personnel records, while applying the Department of Defense's (DoD) strict guidelines to every one. SMART takes the guessing out of information, personnel, and physical security; while drastically cutting man-hours.
SMART's architecture also allows for quick customization. SMART's
Administrator Module allows system administrators easy access to
tools and reports whenever they are needed. SMART is well suited for
DoD security managers, government contracting companies, and
other industries where managing personnel and there security
clearances has become an overwhelming priority.
